Arizona

We went for our first family vacation to Arizona from Dec. 6-12. It was a very relaxing time for the 3 of us. We went to Phoenix to visit relatives. I have an aunt and uncle who live down there with there families. We stayed with my Uncle Jerry and Aunt Renee and their two little boys Tomas and Sam. Collin LOVED playing with his cousins and chased them throughout the house. The weather was rather un-Phoenix like as it rained everyday we were there but two... one which was the day we left. The weather put a damper on things we had planned on doing. Collin got the stomach flu the last day we were there, too, which also stopped us from doing everything we had planned the day before we left. Your child getting sick is always hard but it is even harder when you are far away from home.

We did get to spend lots of quality time with the fam and that was the most important thing. I even survived the plane rides.(BARELY!!) As you see in the photos Collin enjoyed the plane ride much more than his mommy and was an angel on the way there and also on the way home even while being sick. Hopefully we can talk my aunt and uncle into moving back home so we can watch our kids grow up together! ;)
