9 Months

Collin had his 9 month check up and we have nothing but great news to report. Our little boy is growing and developing perfectly! The doctor said he is right on track and may be even a bit advanced for his age. He weighed in at 23lbs. 6 oz. and is 31 inches long. Head size was good, in the 75% percentile, I believe. The doctor said we could give him anything we eat as long as we don't give him too much salt or sugar as his kidneys are still developing. So, his Grammy Collins bought him a grinder and now Collin eats what Mommy and Daddy does for most meals. Goodbye, Gerber food! I am actually quite happy about that b/c even though he does eat the Gerber stuff really well it just does not look good to eat. So far Collin really likes cheese, deli turkey and ham, crackers, yogurt, any kind of fruit, and ribs and baked bean from Smokey Bones! It's amazing how well that grinder works. Anyway, we are only 3 months away until he is a year and boy, has time flew. This has been the best 9 months ever. The last thing to report is that last night Collin took a couple of steps on his own. He's been walking around furniture and pulling him up for a while now so I guess it's only a matter of time before Mr. Collin is walking all over the place.
